What am I doing?

I’m building an app called Say In Motion to help improve speech clarity for people who are understood by strangers only 10% to 90% of the time.

Here’s how it will work: After training a simple, personalized AI model, the person who is hard to understand will be able to speak into their phone, and their phone will then speak clearly to the listener. This AI model will be purpose-built for them, using their own speech patterns to ensure accuracy.

Do you—or someone you love—fall into that category? If so, I’d love just 10 minutes of your time to make a difference!

Here’s what I need:

I need a short video recording of you or your loved one (the person others find hard to understand) saying 12 simple phrases. Just grab your phone, record a quick video, and upload it—no fancy equipment required. If you prefer audio-only, that works too!

I need this sample data to test whether I can train an AI model to clarify and improve someone’s speech.

I’ll take care of all the editing. Just record, upload, and you’re done!

I may never get this project working… but if I do, isn’t 10 minutes of your time worth it?
